For the creation of complex discretizations and 3D models we use ICEM CFD, Ansys Workbench or the program Blender.

This can be used to render 3D models in high quality, as well as create 3D models for printing with our 3D printer.

We work on these topics together with students in the module CAE and modern calculation methods. Here we also generate virtual crash tests of the car bodies with the tool LS-Dyna.
