To perform the structural-mechanical calculations, discretizations are also first performed with ANSYS Workbench or also with Blender. Afterwards, we can perform calculations with ANSYS Mechanical or also with LS-Dyna.

With LS-Dyna we can perform virtual crash tests for vehicles or any geometry to determine the load capacity of the geometry.

Here you can see simulations of virtual crash tests where a drone crashes at 10 [m/s] and hits a surface.

If one performs the virtual crash test at 300 [m/s], the impact of the crash is much more drastic.
